Board Chair

Clint has worked in the medical device industry since 2008, most recently helping physicians to provide their patients with non-narcotic post-operative pain relief. He attended Texas A&M University before transferring and completing his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Texas at Arlington. Clint has a passion for missions and is an active member of Park Cities Baptist Church, where he has been a member since 2009.




Mike has an accounting & finance background and is a CPA in the state of Texas. He graduated in the class of 2006 from Texas A&M University and spent 12 years working for PricewaterhouseCoopers prior to joining Keurig Dr Pepper in early 2019. Mike and his wife Cynthia, along with their 3 kids, have enjoyed living and serving in the Lake Highlands community since 2008. Mike is a member of Park Cities Baptist Church and is humbled to be able to be a part of what God is doing in the community through PLH.

Board Member

Kelly graduated from Baylor University in 1989 and Baylor Law School in 1992, and is a partner at Walters, Balido and Crain.  He and his wife, Laura, are lifetime residents of Lake Highlands and have enjoyed raising their four children in the same neighborhood.  An active member of Park Cities Baptist Church, Kelly is enthusiastic about serving on the board of Bright Futures and helping families in the Northeast Dallas area that means so much to his family.

Katia’s natural curiosity and compassion for the human condition led her to a career in market research.  She received a Master’s of Science in Market Research in 2009, and currently is a senior research manager at EssilorLuxottica where she spearheads projects that aim to understand consumer behavior and motivation. She is also actively involved in the Essilor Vision Foundation, helping make a difference in kids’ lives by giving the gift of clear sight to low-income children and families who cannot afford eyeglasses. As a first generation immigrant, Katia understands the challenges many of the Bright Future's clients face and is excited to be a part of helping them succeed.



Board Member

Kateryna Ivanova is a psychiatry specialist in the Dallas area.  She earned her degree from University of North Texas Health Science Center in Ft. Worth in 2011.  She joined the Bright Futures for Women and Children board during the COVID-19 pandemic. Seeing how the nonprofit continued classes for the Bright Future's clients during this time period was key to her involvement.

Founder & Advisor

Caren Bright is an author, speaker, and certified executive life coach versed in both trauma-informed care and conflict management. Additionally, she holds a certification in nonprofit management. She has made it her life’s work to advocate for women and children.  As the founder of Bright Futures for Women and Children (previously Pamper Lake Highlands), Caren used her experiences to design a curriculum to help individuals reach higher levels of success. Along with implementing the Bright Futures training at her non-profit, Caren teaches Bright Futures Personal Empowerment course to other businesses and nonprofits.
