Announcing Name Change
Updated: Aug 21, 2021
Thank you for your past support of Pamper Lake Highlands and the women and children we serve. The Northeast area of Dallas has some of the greatest poverty rates in the city and the pandemic has highlighted the number of families that need our assistance. Our adult education classes along with free preschool make it possible for women to learn the skills needed to transform their lives, while preparing their children for academic success.
We have recently changed our name to Bright Futures for Women and Children to better reflect our mission of enabling mothers to lead their families out of poverty. Our focus on strong families and the importance of education has not changed and we will transition from virtual classes back to an in-person schedule this fall. Combating the causes of generational poverty is hard work and our program has a proven success rate. Even during COVID, several women passed High School Equivalency tests, completed Bright Futures training, and began the search for careers that will give their families the stability they need to thrive.
We are now planning for the 2021-2022 school year and we need your help to continue to provide our vital programs. Please take a moment to look at our new website at www.bf4wc.org and consider partnering with us as a monthly donor or through an annual donation. This is an opportunity to make a lasting difference in the lives of the many families and in our city. We hope that we can count on your support!
